A ride from Kuta

Departure is at 8:00 AM! The journey heads north, offering a breathtaking view of the island’s eastern landscape. Along the way, one can admire the stunning vistas of rice paddies, quaint villages, lava sands, and towering mountains. Upon arrival in Bayan, there’s a visit to the enchanting Sendang Gila and Tiu Kelep waterfalls, accessible after a delightful trek through the rainforest. The tour continues in Bayan with a stop at the traditional village to experience its unique culture. Returning to Kuta, we pause at Lombok’s oldest mosque, dating back to the 16th century. Bayan holds historical significance as the starting point for Islamic priests to disseminate their teachings across the island. The return trip along the eastern coast affords a final glimpse of the spectacular mountainous terrain of the island’s east side. A stop at the ancient Lian trees, which are over 500 years old, adds a touch of historical wonder before concluding the ride back in Kuta to the south.
